My name is Gordon Rose, and I want to share my deep gratitude for the Delta Gracious Givers Organization. Two years ago, I lost my leg, and since then, working and moving around freely have been incredibly challenging. On top of that, I was struggling without a working bathroom in my own home. When I spoke to President Marcello Gooden and explained my situation, he immediately vowed to help, promising to secure assistance through the Delta forum. That same day, President Gooden and Vice-President Alverse Samuels asked the Delta members for contributions to make the bathroom renovation possible. They tasked Denton Sterling, an ex-soldier, to lead the project as manager. Denton worked tirelessly, and after several months of dedicated effort, the bathroom is finally complete. I am beyond pleased and truly thankful to everyone, the executive body, and all the members who contributed. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for giving me back a piece of my independence.

After I lost my Dad to heart disease, members of Delta Gracious Givers contacted me to offer their condolences to me and my family. The President and Vice-President spoke to me about helping with the funeral expenses through the organization. I welcome the help, and I thank God that with help from all their members, I was able to lay my father to rest. I thank everyone who assisted with the funds that I received. My son passed away several months ago and I was contacted by the president of the Delta Gracious Givers for assistance regarding funeral expenses. After a few days i was given some funds to help with my son's burial. Thanks to all the member who made it possible.

During the start of the covid 19 pandemic in Jamaica i lost my job and was unable to find a job for several months. I reached out to one of the executive members of the Delta Gracious Givers Organization telling him that I would want to start a business to support myself and my family. I asked him if he could assisted me in purchasing a freezer to sell frozen product to members in my community. He then relay the information to the President of the organization explaining to the president what I had communicated to him. The president contacted and asked me to get a proforma invoice to him as soon as possible which I did. A couple weeks later my freezer was purchased and I'm so thankful for this organization and their commitment to help us veterans. I will continue to support this organization for the foreseeable future.

When my daughter got 90% of her body burned, due to domestic violence. The president and vice-president called to offer their support and asked what could they do to assist me. My father was diagnose with stage 4 cancer and was going to the hospital on a regular basis. Delta Gracious Givers was there every step of the way, helping to provide transportation, medical bills, food and encouragement. The president of the organization would call every week to check up on him. During the Chemotherapy, my dad got weaker and sometimes he wasn't able to eat solid food, but the organization helped us to purchase various drink for him which extended the time he was with us . Unfortunately, my dad passed away in July 2023. Delta Gracious Givers helped us with funeral the expenses. I want to thanks all members of the association for their support over that trying time .
